<p><strong>Help build the electrical systems behind Europe's most advanced unmanned ground vehicles.</strong></p><p>As a <strong>Junior Electrical Engineer </strong>at <strong>Milrem Robotics</strong>, you'll design, build, integrate, and test hardware used on real robotic platforms deployed around the world. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll develop practical skills while contributing to technologies at the forefront of autonomous defence.</p><p>You'll join our <strong>Remote Operating Hardware</strong> team, responsible for the electrical systems that enable operators to safely control Milrem's unmanned ground vehicles in demanding environments. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of experience who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges and wants to develop their career through hands-on product development.</p><p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contribute to the development and integration of hardware for remote operating systems.</p></li><li><p>Build, wire, assemble, and test electrical and electronic systems, prototypes, and assemblies.</p></li><li><p>Debug, troubleshoot, validate, and integrate hardware throughout the development lifecycle.</p></li><li><p>Work across a wide range of technologies, including power distribution, control panels, cable harnesses, connectors, communication interfaces, sensors, cameras, displays, and vehicle interface hardware.</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and field engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.</p></li><li><p>Participate in demonstrations, vehicle testing, and other engineering activities as required.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li><p>A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Up to two years of relevant experience through internships, student projects, Formula Student, or similar practical engineering activities.</p></li><li><p>A basic understanding of DC electrical systems and electrical safety.</p></li><li><p>The ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.</p></li><li><p>Practical experience with wiring, crimping, soldering, prototyping, testing, or troubleshooting.</p></li><li><p>Experience using laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.</p></li><li><p>A structured approach to problem-solving and technical documentation.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills in English.</p></li><li><p>A willingness to learn and contribute within a multidisciplinary engineering team.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience with CAN, Ethernet, serial communication, or vehicle electronics.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with electrical schematic or cable harness design tools.</p></li><li><p>An understanding of EMI/EMC principles, grounding, shielding, and cable routing.</p></li><li><p>Experience in automotive, robotics, defence, unmanned systems, or remote operation hardware.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of safety circuits, emergency stop systems, or ruggedised electrical design.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Why join Milrem?</strong></p><p>At Milrem Robotics, you'll work on technology that makes a real-world impact.
