Software Engineer, Connect
Iru Hooldekodu
About Iru Iru is the AI-powered security & IT platform used by the world’s fastest-growing companies to secure their users, apps, and devices. Built for the AI era, Iru unifies identity & access, endpoint security & management, and compliance automation—collapsing the stack and giving IT & security time and control back. Iru is backed by some of the smartest investors in tech—General Catalyst, Tiger Global, Felicis, Greycroft, and First Round Capital. In July 2024, Iru raised $100 million from General Catalyst, valuing the company at $850 million. Customers include Cursor, Vercel, Lovable, Replit, and Mercor, and Iru partners with industry leaders such as ServiceNow and AWS. Iru was named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startup Employers 2025 list for employee engagement and satisfaction. The Opportunity The Connect team is building an integrations platform from scratch. Most integration platforms require hand-written code for each connector. Connect takes a declarative approach: you define connectors as structured specifications, and the platform validates and executes them. Product teams embed integrations through an SDK. End users access them through a separate gateway. The platform handles credential management, execution, and reliability for both paths. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will spend most of your time in the backend: implementing connectors as declarative specs, building services that talk to third-party APIs, and working on the platform infrastructure that makes those integrations reliable. The problems are real and varied: OAuth flows that differ across every provider, webhooks that arrive out of order, rate limits that change without notice. You will also build features in the React and TypeScript frontend. The admin product serves internal operators, and the interfaces you build need to be production-quality. You will carry features from API to interface without a handoff. Expect a split of roughly 70% backend and 30% frontend, stable over time. The role suits engineers who want to grow their backend skills on real infrastructure problems, are comfortable working across the stack, and care about shipping well-built software.

Software Engineer - Payin Platform
Wise
About the company Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money. As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere. More about our mission and what we offer . The role The Payin Platform team owns the layer that powers money entering Wise. We handle high-volume transactions at scale, where correctness and reliability are non-negotiable. As part of the team, you will build and improve the platform capabilities that many other Wise domains rely on, such as payment sessions and payment-method abstractions. You will contribute to shaping how we solve problems, help move work forward towards clear, shippable milestones, and design clean, well-documented APIs for payment processing. Across everything you touch you will care about system correctness and reliability, and you will take an active part in code review, giving and receiving constructive feedback. Qualifications Technical Excellence 3+ years of experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, and hands-on experience with the Spring framework. A track record of writing clean, maintainable code and a strong belief in best practices like code reviews, open feedback, and continuous improvement. Familiarity with backend development, including databases (SQL/NoSQL), synchronous/asynchronous communication, and distributed systems. Experience with web development technologies such as REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. The ability to design technical solutions that balance latency, throughput, adaptability and scalability. A passion for learning new technologies, tools, and patterns to solve problems effectively. Product Mindset A customer-first approach — you prioritize work that solves real customer pain points and use data to drive decisions. The ability to take ownership of problems, propose solutions, and drive projects end-to-end to deliver measurable impact. A knack for identifying opportunities to deliver value faster and providing constructive feedback on product and design decisions. Collaboration Strong communication skills — you can break down complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively across teams. A proactive mindset — you take initiative to improve our codebase, architecture, and processes. A passion for knowledge sharing — you enjoy fostering a culture of learning within the team. Additional information For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. The role What you’ll be doing As a Digital Workspace Engineer, you’ll ensure our core collaboration and communication platforms are secure, highly available, and scalable. You will collectively own the technical roadmap for our primary enterprise communication hubs—Google Workspace and Slack—while supporting and ensuring the smooth operations of our wider workplace suite (including Microsoft 365, Filecloud, DocuSign, Adobe, and Calendly). The Digital Workspace team partners with internal teams across the company to design seamless, API-first integrations and robust automation. Your goal is to eliminate friction for our global teams while maintaining strict security boundaries, ensuring everyone can move fast without obstacles. Your day-to-day: Product & Delivery Own the technical roadmap and deliverables for our core digital workspace suite (Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, Filecloud, etc.), optimizing for predictable, regular cadences of impactful updates. Build custom automations and integrations between our SaaS stack and internal systems to reduce manual overhead, eliminate single points of failure, and streamline employee lifecycles. Deep proficiency with GAM to manage domain, user settings, and automated administrative tasks quickly via the command line. Solid understanding of security best practices for digital workspace environments, including data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access, and third-party app governance. Strong communication skills with an ownership mindset —someone who can confidently facilitate cross-team projects and ask the right questions. Typically 3+ years of relevant SaaS Engineering, Digital Workspace, or Systems Engineering experience. We value skills and impact over years. Bonus skills / experience: DevOps & Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, observability) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), as well as configuration as code for identity systems. Low/No-Code Platforms: Familiarity with low/no‑code automation platforms (e.g., Okta Workflows, Workato, Zapier) and modern iPaaS architecture patterns. Compliance & Audits: Experience navigating formal audits and operating within compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or SOX.
