As part of our Fraud Countermeasure team, you will play a pivotal role in keeping fraudsters at bay while safeguarding the interests of our customers. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys searching for patterns in large datasets, this might be the perfect opportunity for you!</p> <p><strong>You'll help us protect honest people online by:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Investigating and analyzing cases of suspected fraud affecting Veriff’s customers.</li> <li>Monitoring, inspecting, and validating fraud strategy outcomes to ensure they meet compliance standards.</li> <li>Developing new countermeasures and strategies to address emerging fraud patterns while minimizing false positives and negatives.</li> <li>Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to communicate findings, propose improvements, and ensure product readiness.</li> <li>Evaluating risk scenarios, identifying system vulnerabilities, and suggesting corrective actions to prevent fraud.</li> <li>Working cross-functionally to improve fraud detection processes and enhance the overall quality of our fraud products.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You might be the right person for the job if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in fraud investigation, risk analysis, or AML/KYC/compliance.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in large datasets.</li> <li>Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (SQL,&nbsp; Tableau or Looker).</li> <li>A solid understanding of risk assessment, able to predict potential fraud scenarios and propose effective solutions.</li> <li>Experience in developing and implementing fraud detection strategies and countermeasures.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.</li> <li>Ability to think critically, identify system vulnerabilities, and propose corrective actions.</li> <li>Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of fraud methodologies and emerging trends.</li> <li>Experience in evaluating risk scenarios and making data-driven recommendations.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Self-motivation, a high degree of curiosity and autonomy, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest fraud detection technologies and techniques.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location:</strong> USA (Remote)</p> <p><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Why Veriff?</strong></p> <p>We are the preferred identity verification platform partner for the world’s most innovative growth-driven organizations helping conveniently verify and safeguard users anywhere in the world.
