The Opportunity:
IRU is seeking an innovative and highly technical AI Security & Automation Engineer to help shape the future of security operations, AI governance, and enterprise automation.
This role sits at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Security Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing AI technologies, implementing AI governance controls, automating security and operational workflows, and enabling the safe adoption of AI across the organization.
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into business operations and product development, this role will play a critical part in ensuring AI is deployed securely, responsibly, and at scale while improving operational efficiency through intelligent automation.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Operations, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and AI-enabled business applications.
Experience implementing automation solutions using platforms such as Tines, Power Automate, ServiceNow, or similar technologies.
Strong scripting and development skills in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar languages.
Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and cloud-native integrations.
Knowledge of cloud security principles across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with logging, telemetry, monitoring, and observability platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
