The role

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Work with the company’s global database platform daily operations - from initial setup to tools development 
  • Work with high-volume databases in a complex environment with many moving parts 
  • Plan and execute all aspects of database administration to achieve maximum stability and availability 
  • Install and upgrade databases and high-availability solutions for databases 
  • Develop automation, monitoring and other tooling 
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation to support database‑related production incidents

Qualifications

  • Have solid hands‑on experience with MySQL database administration.
  • Have good understanding of general IT concepts, especially networks and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Are a collaborative team player who is open to new ideas and modern approaches.
  • Enjoy solving technical problems and can handle moderately complex challenges.
  • Are proactive — when you notice something isn’t working as expected, you naturally look into it and help get it resolved.
  • Are motivated to grow your technical expertise and continuously expand your knowledge.
  • Have basic to intermediate scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation and tooling.

  • Knowledge or hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working with AWS database services.
  • Exposure to running databases on Kubernetes, especially using MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL operators

The role Your influential mission. You will... Lead and coordinate regulatory projects and requests in the Infrastructure Business Unit. Interpret audit controls to understand what is requested, gather the needed evidence from technical teams & defend it in audit session calls. Be the representative contact point for all internal & external technical audits (both written and verbal) for the Playtech Infrastructure. Create and maintain an information knowledge base in the Infrastructure unit to support the business. Communicate inside the Infrastructure unit, the Compliance, Security, and product delivery teams of Playtech to ensure a smooth information flow. We use our analytical skills to understand audit controls, communication skills to gather and present the needed evidence, and our trait for attention to detail to map it all to our knowledge base.
